We emphasize healing and preventative therapies along with several techniques of rejuvenation and purification. Ayurveda is not only a mere healing system but also an art and science of good living that helps in the process of achieving longevity. Also, it can guide everyone to make the right choice of diet and nutrition, exercise, and living habits to gain back balance in the consciousness, mind, and body, thus preventing illness from getting to the root.
Ayurveda argues that every person is a distinct phenomenon of cosmic mindfulness, manifested various the five fundamental elements, including Earth, Water, Fire, Air, and Ether. Pitta is a mixture of water and fire, Vata- a mixture of air and ether, and Kapha- is a mixture of earth and water. These are all known and as tridosha, and they are the three organizations and humors of the body system- derived from consciousness. The relative parts of the tridosha detect each psycho-somatic or constitutional temperament during fertilization. Once the embryo is created, the constitution is identified.
According to Ayurveda, there are seven fundamental constitutions with two or more doshas. These constitutions include Kapha-Vata predominant or pitta-Kapha, pitta, Vata or Kapha predominant, and pitta-Vata-Kapha in a matching balance- a rare incidence.
More specifically, each constitution has its unique balance of VPK (Vata-pitta and Kapha) based on its nature. The VPK balance is the natural order. Once the doshic balance is distracted, it causes an imbalance, which is a syndrome. The disease is a disorder; health is order. Within your body system, there is a consistent interaction between disorder and order, so when one understands the structure and nature of the disorder, it can restore order. Experts argue that order often lies within a syndrome.
Ayurveda defines order as the state of health. This is available when the Agni (digestive system) is in a paralleled situation, the humors are in equilibrium, the body tissues are functioning normally, the waste products are generated and removed successfully, and the consciousness, senses, and mind are working harmoniously together. Once the stability of these systems is distracted, the process of disease formation begins.
The internal atmosphere is controlled by Kapha, pitta, and Vata, which are consistently reacting to the external atmosphere. The incompatible food combinations such as yogurt and meat, bad lifestyle habits and diet, seasonal changes, stress, and repressed emotions can all work separately or together to disturb the balance of Kapha, pitta, and Vata. Based on the nature of the cause, the VPK system undergoes derangement or aggravation, which impacts gastric fire and generates toxins (ama).
The toxins penetrate through the bloodstream and are spread throughout the body, blocking the channels. Holding of ama in the blood causes toxemia. If the accumulated toxicity is well-established, it will eventually affect cellular metabolic energy (Tejas), immunity (Ojas), and vital life energy (prana), causing illness. This can be the effort of nature to remove toxicity from your body system. Each illness results from a crisis of ama harmfulness. Ama is the fundamental cause of any type of illness due to the intensified doshas.
Herein lies the fundamental key to the elimination of toxins from the body-prevention of disease. To halt further production of toxins, Ayurvedic recommends putting an individual on the appropriate diet, exercise and habits, diet and administering a perfect cleansing program- like the Panchakarma.
While the Panchakarma is normally deliberated of like the whole procedure, it is really a sole part of the category of therapies that belong to a group of a cleansing process known as shodana. If you are not strong enough for shodana, practitioners can recommend you to opt for a class of milder techniques known as shamana.
